 Team Video Pacific makes, packages, licences, and promotes selected video & DVD resources for school and home use, mainly into New Zealand & Australia markets.
Many of the titles we promote are under license from producers in other countries. For example the Science titles - Flight, Magnetism, Photosynthesis etc - are licensed from Schlessinger Science Library, part of Library Video, which is based in the United States. Other licences are with TVNZ and Channel 4 TV etc.
A typical arrangement might be as follows: We preview your title(s), check their educational potential with teachers, and report to you. We agree with you a plan including likely sales over a 5 year period, a royalty return rate (typically 25%), and royalties to be paid in advance. We work with you to produce supplementary notes - if necessary. You provide submaster material which we lodge with our independent duplicator (they provide you with duplication run information). We provide you with 6 month royalty returns and bank checks for royalties owed in that period. There may be variations to the above that better suit your needs.
